Bureau of Industry and Security Proposes Changes to Guidance on Administrative Enforcement Penalties

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is proposing a revision to its guidance on administrative enforcement penalties for violations of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), aiming to make penalties more predictable and aligned with those of the Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
