EPA Determines Houston-Galveston-Brazoria 8-Hour Ozone Nonattainment Area Attains 1997 Ozone Standard

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that the Houston-Galveston-Brazoria area is meeting the 1997 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) based on recent air quality monitoring data, allowing the area to temporarily suspend certain requirements related to achieving and maintaining the standard.
