HUD Announces Final Approved Assessment Tool for Fair Housing Assessments

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has released a final version of the Assessment Tool, a new tool for local governments to conduct and submit their own assessments of fair housing, as required by HUD's Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) regulations. The tool will be used for assessments conducted by local governments, public housing agency partners, and other collaborations, with no assessments due before October 4, 2016, and more information available on HUD's website at https://www.hudexchange.info/programs/affh/
