U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International Spent Fuel Storage System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has confirmed the effective date of April 25, 2016, for a direct final rule that amended the agency's spent fuel storage regulations, adding Holtec International's HI-STORM Flood/Wind Multipurpose Storage System to the list of approved casks, with Amendment No. 0, Revision 1, to Certificate of Compliance No. 1032.
