NRC Authorizes Licensees to Possess Firearms and Large-Capacity Ammunition at Nuclear Facilities

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted permission to Entergy Nuclear Operations, Exelon Generation Company, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and Southern California Edison Company to own and possess certain firearms and large-capacity ammunition at their nuclear facilities, despite local, state, and federal firearms laws.
