U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Updated Guidance on Buried and Underground Piping and Tanks

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing a new License Renewal Interim Staff Guidance (LR-ISG) document, LR-ISG-2015-01, which updates recommendations for buried and underground piping and tanks at nuclear power plants. This change replaces an older document and addresses new regulatory requirements for license renewals.
