Duke Energy Progress Seeks Exemption from Regulatory Requirements for Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plants

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted Duke Energy Progress an exemption from certain regulatory requirements, allowing the company to delay submission of an update to its Final Safety Analysis Report until December 31, 2016, or the resumption of its combined license application review.
