U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Establishes Security Requirements for Radioactive Material

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has published a final rule to establish security requirements for the use and transport of category 1 and category 2 quantities of radioactive material, with the goal of preventing theft or diversion and protecting high-risk radiological material.
