U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Holtec International's Spent Fuel Storage Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is proposing to update its regulations for spent fuel storage by revising the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System listing to include Amendment No. 10 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1014, which adds new fuel classes, clarifies design pressures, and improves measurement of air velocity and heat distribution.
