U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has confirmed the effective date of May 31, 2016, for a direct final rule that amended spent fuel storage regulations to include the Holtec HI-STORM 100 Cask System, and also corrected an error that omitted revisions to the system's Certificate of Compliance.
