U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to South Carolina Electric & Gas for Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to South Carolina Electric & Gas to make design changes to the emergency habitability system in the main control room of the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station's Units 2 and 3, allowing for a departure from certification information required by the generic design control document.
