NRC Imposes $21,000 Civil Penalty on Plus, LLC for Regulatory Violations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an Imposition Order to Plus, LLC, requiring the company to pay a $21,000 civil penalty for violating regulations related to the import, possession, and distribution of watches containing byproduct material. This penalty is a result of a previous Notice of Violation issued on May 3, 2016, which proposed a $42,000 fine for the same infraction.
