NRC Issues Final Revision to Design Guidance for Nuclear Power Plants

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has updated its Standard Review Plan for reviewing safety analysis reports at nuclear power plants, clarifying the original intent of the guidance using plain language and incorporating lessons learned from operating experience.
