U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Extends Deadline for Nuclear Plant License Amendment

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a confirmatory order to extend the deadline for Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to submit a license amendment request for the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, from October 4, 2016 to April 4, 2018.
