Michelin North America, Inc. Receives NHTSA Petition for Decision on Noncompliance with FMVSS 139
Michelin North America, Inc. has determined that certain BFGoodrich gForce Rival S summer performance tires do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 139, but has petitioned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for a decision that the noncompliance is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety. The noncompliance report was filed on April 17, 2017, and the petition was submitted on May 5, 2017.
