US Fishery Management Agency Updates Regulations for Atlantic Billfishes

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a document combining an interpretive rule and a final action to update the management of Atlantic billfishes, including the addition of roundscale spearfish and the change of white marlin's genus to Kajikia, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (MSA) and the Atlantic Highly Migratory Species (HMS) regulations.
