The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for a limited marine seismic survey in the Arctic Ocean during August and September 2010, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) regulations.
