Regulatory Agencies File Notice to Review Proposed Electric Rate Changes

Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley and several state regulatory agencies have filed a notice with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to request a review of proposed rate changes by several electric companies, including Bangor Hydro-Electric Company, Central Maine Power Company, and National Grid. The filing is part of a larger proposal by the Industrial Energy Consumer Group and other organizations to challenge the rates charged by these companies.
