Commission Announces OMB Approval of Numbering Policies for IP-Enabled Services

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has received approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to implement new rules for VoIP providers to obtain telephone numbers directly from Numbering Administrators, effective for a period of three years.
