FCC Invites Comments on Proposed Revisions to TCPA Rules for Debt Collection Calls

The Federal Communications Commission is seeking public input on revised rules under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act that would exempt autodialed and prerecorded calls made solely for debt collection from the prior-express-consent requirement, as mandated by the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015.
