NMFS Closes Commercial Shark Research Fishery for Non-Sandbar Large Coastal Sharks
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is taking inseason action to close the commercial research fishery for non-sandbar large coastal sharks (LCS) due to high landings exceeding 80% of the available quota for the 2010 fishing season.
