FDA Clears Cortone Tablets for Sale, Citing Lack of Safety or Efficacy Concerns

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made a determination that Cortone tablets and other related drug products were not withdrawn from sale due to safety or effectiveness concerns, allowing the agency to continue approving abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for these products.
