FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Pathogen Reduction Technology for Blood Components

The FDA has released a draft guidance document outlining recommendations for blood establishments to implement pathogen reduction technology in the manufacture of pathogen-reduced blood components, including answers to frequently asked questions about the INTERCEPT Blood System.
