Coast Guard Proposes Safety Zone for Block Island Wind Farm Construction

The US Coast Guard plans to create a 500-yard safety zone around five locations in Rhode Island Sound where the Block Island Wind Farm's wind turbine foundations will be built, from July 1 to September 30, 2015, to protect mariners from construction hazards.
