USCIS and EOIR to Streamline Removal Proceedings for Noncitizens with Credible Fear of Persecution or Torture

The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice have issued an interim final rule that streamlines removal proceedings for noncitizens with a credible fear of persecution or torture, and establishes timelines for considering asylum and related protection applications.
