ATF Requests OMB Approval for Updated Firearm Information Collection

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Department of Justice (DOJ), is requesting review and approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for an updated information collection (IC) related to the Application for Tax Exempt Transfer and Registration of Firearm--ATF Form 5 (5320.5). The update includes changes due to the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, such as updates to instructions and definitions, and is open to public comments.
