DEA Places Amineptine in Schedule I for Regulatory Controls

The Drug Enforcement Administration has issued a final rule placing amineptine, a chemical used in research and potentially for pharmaceutical applications, under strict regulatory controls due to its potential for abuse and dependence, in line with the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances.
