DEA Places Methiopropamine in Schedule I to Meet International Obligations

The Drug Enforcement Administration has finalized a rule placing N-methyl-1-(thiophen-2-yl)propan-2-amine, also known as methiopropamine, in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act, in order to comply with the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances and impose regulatory controls on its handling and distribution.
