US Department of Agriculture Adopts New Assessment Rate for Washington Apricots

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule to lower the assessment rate for Washington apricots from $1.50 to $0.75 per ton, effective for the 2015-2016 fiscal period and onwards, as recommended by the Washington Apricot Marketing Committee.
