U.S. Adopts Final Rule for Lacey Act Definitions

The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of the Interior have finalized a rule establishing definitions for 'common cultivar' and 'common food crop' under the Lacey Act, a law that protects plant species and products from illegal harvesting and trade.
