BPA to Rebuild 120 Miles of Montana Transmission Line to Ensure Reliable Electric Service

The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) plans to rebuild approximately 120 miles of its 230-kilovolt transmission line in Montana due to its deteriorated condition, which poses a safety risk to the public and maintenance crews, and will initiate a public scoping process for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess potential environmental impacts.
