Treasury Finalizes Rule on Tax Check Requirements for Government Contractors

The Department of the Treasury has finalized a rule that adds a new subpart to its Acquisition Regulation, requiring contractors to undergo a tax check before receiving a government award, in an effort to ensure compliance with tax laws.
