EPA Exempts Sulfuric Acid from Tolerance Requirement

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Ecolab, Inc. from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of sulfuric acid (7664-93-9) in certain food-contact applications, following a petition submitted by Exponent, Inc. on behalf of Ecolab, Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
