U.S. Secretary of Education Proposes Revisions to School Improvement Grants Program

The U.S. Secretary of Education is proposing changes to the School Improvement Grants program, which would allow local educational agencies to implement additional interventions, provide flexibility for rural areas, and extend the grant period from three to five years, based on lessons learned from four years of program implementation.
