FMCSA to Review American Moving & Storage Association's Exemption Application for 14-Hour Rule

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is seeking public comment on the American Moving & Storage Association's (AMSA) application to exempt its 3,700 member companies from the 14-hour rule, allowing drivers to drive from residential areas to nearby safety and security locations after completing household goods shipments.
