Organization and Delegation of Powers and Duties in the Transportation Acquisition Regulation

The Transportation Acquisition Regulation (TAR) has been amended to reflect the elevation of the Research and Innovative Technology Administration into the Office of the Secretary, creating the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology. This change grants the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology the same authority as an Operating Administration, similar to the former Research and Innovative Technology Administrator.
