NMFS to Hold Public Hearings for Proposed Endangered Listing of Atlantic Sturgeon

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) will conduct two public hearings in December 2010 to gather comments on the proposed listing of Atlantic sturgeon as endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) of 1973, for two distinct population segments in the Southeast.
