Embraer S.A. Airplanes: Airworthiness Directive Superseded Due to Unsafe Brake Condition
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is superseding an airworthiness directive for Embraer S.A. Model EMB-505 airplanes due to mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) from another country, which identifies and corrects an unsafe condition in the brake assemblies, characterized by cracks beyond acceptable limits in the carbon discs of the left and right hand brake assemblies.
