Lockheed Martin Proposes Revised Airworthiness Directive for Certain Model 382 Airplanes

Lockheed Martin is proposing to update its Airworthiness Directive (AD) for Model 382 airplanes to reduce inspection intervals for cracks in the center wing upper and lower rainbow fittings, following analysis of in-service cracking that shows a need for more frequent checks to prevent catastrophic failure.
