EPA Extends Public Comment Period for Pebble Mine Proposal in Southwest Alaska

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the public comment period for its proposed determination to restrict the use of certain waters in Southwest Alaska for mining the Pebble deposit, a copper-, gold-, and molybdenum-bearing ore body, following a significant number of written comments received.
