US Army Corps Proposes Reduced Hours at Minneapolis Locks

The US Army Corps of Engineers is proposing a reduction in operating hours at the Lower St. Anthony Falls Lock and Lock and Dam 1 in Minneapolis, MN, from 19 hours per day to 10 hours per day, 7 days a week, starting in the 2015 navigation season, in an effort to comply with guidance from the Inland Marine Transportation System (IMTS) Board of Directors.
