Department of Defense Proposes Expansion of Consumer Credit Protections for Service Members and Dependents

The Department of Defense is proposing to extend the protections of the Military Lending Act to a broader range of credit products, including closed-end and open-end credit, and to amend existing regulations governing consumer credit interest rates and disclosures.
