EPA Proposes Significant New Use Rule for Certain Nonylphenols and Nonylphenol Ethoxylates

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing a significant new use rule (SNUR) for 15 chemical substances commonly known as nonylphenols and nonylphenol ethoxylates, requiring manufacturers to notify the agency at least 90 days prior to using these substances for new purposes.
