EPA Approves Redesignation Requests for Washington, DC-MD-VA Nonattainment Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved redesignation requests from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia to meet the 1997 annual fine particulate matter standard, and also approved a maintenance plan to ensure continued compliance through 2025.
