U.S. Navy Decides to Base F-35C Aircraft at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California

The U.S. Department of the Navy has made a decision to provide facilities and functions to support the homebasing of F-35C aircraft at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California, as outlined in the Environmental Impact Statement for U.S. Navy F-35C West Coast Homebasing, with the first aircraft expected to arrive in 2016 and the proposed action expected to be completed by 2028.
