EPA to Review Waste Isolation Pilot Plant's Compliance with Radiation Protection Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency will assess whether the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant continues to meet its environmental radiation protection standards for radioactive waste disposal, as required by the 1992 Waste Isolation Pilot Plant Land Withdrawal Act.
