FMCSA Grants 2-Year Exemption to Van Hool N.V. and Coach USA for Double Deck Motorcoaches

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has granted a limited 2-year exemption to Van Hool N.V. and Coach USA, allowing them to operate double deck motorcoaches with reduced exit areas from sleeper berths, which do not meet the minimum dimensional requirements specified in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs).
