Texas Department of Transportation Seeks Comments on Surface Transportation Project Delivery Program and Proposed MOU with FHWA

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has received an application from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to participate in the Surface Transportation Project Delivery Program, which allows states to assume environmental review responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. The public and agencies are invited to comment on the draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining the program's implementation and the scope of responsibilities to be assigned.
