DoD Issues Final Rule on Specialty Metals Restrictions for Defense Acquisitions

The US Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a final rule to clarify the flowdown requirements for the DFARS clause related to the restriction on acquiring articles containing specialty metals, as part of its efforts to implement the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014.
