EPA Approves Illinois' Revised Air Quality Plan, Phasing Out Gasoline Vapor Recovery Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Illinois' revised air quality implementation plan, which eliminates the Stage II vapor recovery program in the Chicago ozone nonattainment area and updates the state's permitting regulations for storage tanks and fuel dispensing operations.
